Experience astonishing sound with GTri Bookshelf speakers. This speaker kit, crafted from premium grade, 12mm, Baltic birch (see why), is a breeze to assemble.
What We Provide
Easy to assemble enclosure(s), which should take an afternoon to assemble. We thought long and hard about a design that doesn't take more than some glue and clamps (or painters tape) to assemble. The pieces are unfinished, so you can apply the stain of your choice.
What You Provide
All the components for these speakers are available from Parts Express. This is the parts list per enclosure, so obviously double, triple, etc. if you'd like two, or three enclosures.

Additionally, you're going to need
And either a speaker terminal cup or binding posts
If you choose a ported cabinet
Sealed or Ported?
Sealed speakers have a tighter bass, while ported speakers have a louder bass. Sealed speakers are better for a more natural bass tone, while ported speakers are better for maximum volume.
Bass quality:Sealed speakersHave a faster transient response, which produces a tighter, more articulate bass. The bass rolls off more gradually, without overhang.
Ported speakersHave a slower transient response, which produces a louder bass that rolls off quicker and deeper. The bass can sound "tubby" if the port isn't tuned properly.
Efficiency:Ported speakers: Are more efficient than sealed speakers, meaning they require less power to produce the same volume.
Sealed speakers: Require more amp power to produce bass.
If you go with no port, and you are really looking to up your audio game, consider adding a pair of our
Uno or
Duo RiPole Woofers
