Introducing GRiPol UNO - the game-changing DIY audio kit for discerning audio enthusiasts. This isn't just a project; it's a passion in a box, streamlined for simplicity and affordability! With our all-new enclosure kit, creating your own high-quality woofer has never been easier. We provide the enclosure; you bring the woofer and your excellent taste in music. Get ready to experience professional-grade sound without breaking the bank.
By utilizing a single driver per enclosure, the GRiPol UNO offers outstanding audio performance while keeping costs down. Say goodbye to purchasing multiple drivers and hello to savings! For the ultimate stereo sound stage, we recommend two enclosures: one for the left and one for the right.
Our advanced Ripol design ensures that you'll have one of the most compact enclosures possible for the size of the driver. Why deal with cumbersome, oversized designs when you can have sleek efficiency?
And let's not forget our innovative "cartridge" system. This feature allows for quick removal of the driver, just in case you decide to turn up the volume to “earthquake” level and need to swap it out in a hurry. Because, you know, life happens.
Now go out there and make some noise, affordably! 🎵🔊
What We Provide
An easy to assemble enclosure, which should take an afternoon to assemble. We thought long and hard about a design that doesn't take more than some glue and clamps (or painters tape) to assemble. You'll need to drill pilot hole to mount the woofer, as we can't really determine the screw pattern.
What You Provide
The woofer of your choice, wiring, speaker terminals, screws for mounting the woofer, an amplifier. Most modern AV receivers provide a subwoofer output where you can choose the crossover frequency. Pipe this output to a discrete amplifier, and into the woofer.
Important Note:
Order your woofers first, unless you know the exact dimensions of the driver. We need this information to make sure the opening for both the front and the back (magnet) are custom tailored for you.

About the Ripol Design
Patented by German speaker builder Axel Ridtahler, the name "RiPol" is short for "Ridtahler dipole."
A RiPol is essentially a compact, folded-baffle dipole. Unlike the classic figure-8 dipole radiation pattern, the RiPol has a cardioid-shaped pattern with a pronounced frontal lobe. It can play very low frequencies (below 20Hz). Due to the cardioid pattern nulling the off-axis output, it is less prone to excite room resonance, which can cause the dreaded “one-note boom” often associated with conventional monopole subwoofers.
